3) Beaconhouse Liberty Campus
A World of Tomorrow will consider the future through five broad dimensions.
Each dimension will be explored through a series of panel discussions, debates, presentations, interactive workshops, Hackathons, exhibits and displays, and a foreign film festival.
The five dimensions of the conference are:

An Expressive Future

About the School of Tomorrow Events:
The School of Tomorrow (SOT) is a Free-‐to-‐public conference series that started in the year 2000 and is organized by Beaconhouse as part of its commitment to its corporate social responsibility. Over the years, the conference series has featured hundreds of activists, cultural leaders, educators, futurists, thinkers and other trailblazers along with 3 prime ministers and presidents from across Pakistan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, India and other countries.
SOT Events have taken place in the following cities:
Islamabad in January 2000, themed ‘Rethinking Education’;
Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad in November 2005, themed ‘Towards 2035: The School of Tomorrow’;
Lahore in November 2010, themed ‘School of Tomorrow: Freedom to Learn’;
Kuala Lumpur in November 2012, themed ‘School of Tomorrow: Empowering Lifelong Learners’;
Karachi in November 2015, themed ‘School of Tomorrow: The End of Education?*’ (*As we know it)
While earlier SOT Events were restricted largely to the Beaconhouse community, our most recent event in Karachi – School of Tomorrow: The End of Education* – was the first to be open to the general public, as are our future events. SOT Karachi examined the impact of external forces including geopolitics and global security, media and digital technologies, popular art and culture and an increasing environmental consciousness on the future of schools and society. More than 120 speakers from various countries converged in Karachi to share ideas and experiences over two days with an audience of tens of thousands of people from all cross-‐sections of Karachi.
The next two SOT Events are in Lahore and Islamabad, each themed ‘A World of Tomorrow: Seeking Inspiration & Equilibrium in a New Age’.
About the Organizer:
SOT Events are organized by Beaconhouse, the largest independent school network in the world. Beaconhouse traces its roots to the Les Anges Montessori Academy, founded in Lahore in November 1975 with a modest 19 children. Nearly forty-‐one years later, the Beaconhouse network educates over 260,000 students in 8 countries across Asia, the Middle East and Europe, of which 100,000 study in company-‐owned schools while the remaining are in institutions operated by network associates/franchisees.
Beaconhouse is a learning organization that takes pride in its past while nurturing a culture of continuous professional development, introspection and reinvention. It is this quest that drives the School of Tomorrow Events.
